YOGA
Gentle Vinyasa:
Monday and Wednesday at 5:30 pm
This class is a little bit of work and a little bit of rest. Strengthen, tone, and stretch your body with a gentle, flowing movement practice, connected to the breath, ending with restorative poses. All-levels class incorporating modifications and variations so beginners and advanced practitioners alike can enjoy the flow.
Gentle Flow + Restorative:
Monday at 7:00 pm
A nurturing combination class starting with Gentle yoga postures, in seated and supported positions, connecting your breath to your body. We will then move into Restorative postures, deeply supported by bolsters, blocks, and blankets with the goal of encouraging the nervous system to relax. Meditation and breathing exercises are integrated throughout the practice to promote the effects of conscious relaxation.
Mid-Week Motivation:
Wednesday at 8:30 am
An upbeat, feel good Vinyasa flow to help push you over the mid-week hump. Greet the day with a playful flow that will leave you energized and smiling.
Yoga Fusion:
Thursday at 7:30 am (starts Sept 17)
Focus on core stability and hip mobility in this class with intentional movement and deep stretches. We will also incorporate balance poses and finish each class with a body awareness meditation. Some Yoga/Pilates experience recommended.
Yoga for Beginners:
Saturday at 8:30 am (starts October 10)
Learn the foundations of hatha and vinyasa yoga in this class. We will break down poses, work on alignment, use lots of props, do breath work and have fun! All levels welcome, but beginners especially encouraged.
DANCE
Belly Dance Cardio:
Tuesday at 6:30 pm
Get your heart rate up and leave your stress behind. We'll shimmy, sweat, and dance it out with dance conditioning exercises and easy-to-follow moves that draw inspiration from Egyptian belly dance and various folkloric styles. No belly dance experience required, just a sense of playfulness and curiosity!
Hip Hop Dance:
Thursday at 6:00 pm (starts Sept 17)

Learn hip hop moves in this class that is all about having fun and feeling comfortable in your body! Find your energy, get moving and find your flow! All experience levels welcome.
WORKSHOPS
Introduction to Belly Dance Series:
Saturday October 10, 17, 24, & November 21

Belly dance helps you connect with your body, improve your posture, and build strength and flexibility. Learn basic techniques, movements and rhythms, and history and context of Egyptian dance. No previous experience necessary. All body types and fitness levels welcome. Students in this series will have the option to perform in the Elkins Christmas parade on December 4!

Mat Pilates with Guest Instructor Ashley White
